Using Eden Energy Medicine and Comprehensive Energy Psychology with my Psychotherapy modalities, I help balance my clients' Mind/Body/Spirit.
I am a Holistic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Certified Clinical Specialist in Child/Adolescent Mental Health Nursing, Diplomate in Comprehensive Energy Psychology and Certified Eden Energy Medicine Clinical Practitioner. I got my BSN from Lehman College in 1980 and worked as a public health nurse for 6 years. In 1987, I earned my MSN from Adelphi University and then in 1998 my NP certificate, also from Adelphi. I have worked as a Nurse Educator in a children’s state psychiatric hospital, a Nurse Practitioner in a child/adolescent mental health clinic, a Psychiatric Consultant to St. Mary’s Hospital for Children providing mental health care for children with severe physical illness and their families and a faculty member for The Birchtree Center for Healthcare Transformation. During my 30+ years in practice I have developed a passion for parenting work, and have provided parenting courses to hundreds of parents throughout my career.
A new exciting direction over the past decade has been Holistic Nursing. My clients, both in my private practice and other settings, have been benefiting from a variety of complementary modalities along with traditional psychotherapy techniques. I am now specializing in Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology in my psychiatric practice.
My goal is to develop a trusting relationship to support you in growing, healing and reducing stress. I look forward to helping you on your life journey.
